Sonal Trading Co.

Sonal Trading Co. is situated right in the middle of the bustle on Danapith Road, Begumpura, within the Zampa Bazar area of Khanna. This part of town is always crowded and loud. You have carts being pushed around, people haggling, and the smell of spices in the air. We are mainly traders, so we deal with larger quantities of goods than a regular shop. Our space is more like a warehouse than a store, with bags and crates stacked up high. We've been operating in Zampa Bazar for years, following the traditions of the merchants who were here before us. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and keeping track of what comes in and what goes out. The books are always full of numbers and names of suppliers from all over. We don't have a fancy showroom or anywhere for people to sit comfortably. It's just a functional space for doing business. The walls are stained and the ceiling is high, and it gets quite hot in the summer months. We drink a lot of water and try to keep moving. Most of our customers are other shopkeepers or small businesses who need bulk supplies. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know and how we make our living. We don't use computers much; we prefer to do things the old-fashioned way with paper and a pen.
