Jai Jagdish Fal Bhandar

Jai Jagdish Fal Bhandar has its spot right on the Clock Tower Main Road at number 85. It is a busy area and the shop is usually full of wooden crates. We get up really early, while it is still dark, to go and get the fresh fruit from the big market. We sell whatever is in season, so the shop looks different every few months. If the fruit isn't great one day, we will probably tell you to wait for the next batch. My family has been doing this for years. The noise from the traffic near the Clock Tower is constant but you stop hearing it after a while. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. We just put the fruit out on the shelves and wait for people to stop by. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby or pass through on their way home. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with straw and leaves from the crates. We try to keep things tidy but it is a fruit shop, so it is never perfect. We don't do home delivery with apps or anything like that. You just come in, pick what you want, and we weigh it for you. It is simple work and we like it that way. We stay open until late evening most days of the week because people like to buy fruit after they finish work.
