K.P. Woollen Mills Private Limited

We have been working at Industrial Area A for quite some time now, specifically at the K.P. Woollen Mills site. Most days it is just about getting the wool ready and making sure the machines are running okay. It gets pretty loud in here with all the spinning going on, but that is just how it is in this part of Ludhiana. Textile Colony is always busy. People are coming and going, and trucks are constantly loading up with goods. We do not do anything fancy here, just the work we know how to do with the wool. Sometimes the power goes off or things get delayed because of the weather, but we manage to get through it. My father used to say that wool is in our blood since we are here in Punjab. We handle the raw materials and turn them into something people can use for their clothes. It is not always easy work, especially when the weather gets hot and we are dealing with heavy wool, but we have a good group of people here. Most of us live nearby or have been commuting to the mill for years. We just focus on the daily tasks, checking the piles of wool, and making sure everything is packed up for the orders. It is a plain business, really. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The neighborhood has changed a lot since the early days, but the smell of the fibers stays the same.
