Over at C-133 134 Focal Point Phase V, that’s where Ashoka Dyeing And Finishing Mills Pvt. Ltd. is situated. It’s a big name for a place where we mostly just get our hands dirty with dyes and finishes. We have been operating in this part of Focal Point for quite some time. The facility is large enough to hold the vats and the drying equipment we need. It’s often hot and humid inside because of all the steam and water we use. We don't really have any fancy office space to show off to people. Most of our time is spent on the floor, checking the colors and making sure the finishing is coming out right. It’s messy work and we usually go home with some stains on our clothes. That’s just part of the deal when you work in a dye mill. We don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. It is hard work and requires a lot of attention to detail so the colors don't get messed up. The machines are old but they still do the job well enough for us. We have a routine that we follow every day, starting with the first batch of the morning. Phase V is a busy industrial zone, so there’s always trucks coming and going. We just try to stay on schedule and keep the work moving through the various stages without any big hiccups.
