Auro Weaving Mills has been around on Chandigarh Road for a good while now. We’re part of the Vardhman Spinning and General Mills Ltd setup, so the machines are usually running. It's a busy spot. Most of us here just focus on the weaving side of things every day. We don't really do fancy talk, just come in and get the work done. The yard gets pretty active when trucks come through. Being on Chandigarh Road makes it easy for people to find us, though the traffic can get a bit much during shift changes. We handle a lot of spinning and general mill work under the Vardhman name. It's noisy inside, as you’d expect from a mill. Some of the guys have worked here for years and know the looms inside out. We just try to keep things moving. There isn't much to say other than we are a division that handles the weaving part of the larger business. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere but that's just how a mill is. We keep the gates open early. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t spend time on big speeches or decorating the office. If you drive down Chandigarh Road, you’ll see the sign. It’s just a big place where people work hard and go home. That’s pretty much the whole story of Auro Weaving Mills and how we fit into the Vardhman group. We just keep the threads moving.
