Amar Jacquard

Amar Jacquard is based over at Plot C7 and C8 in the Hampton Court area on Chandigarh Road. It's a decent sized spot where we handle all our weaving and machinery work. We've been at this location for a while now, and it suits our needs well. The traffic on Chandigarh Road can be a bit much sometimes, but once you're inside the gate, it's all about the work. We deal with jacquard patterns and the specific machines needed for that kind of detail. It is a bit technical, and sometimes the looms act up, but that is just part of the trade. We have a small team here who really knows their way around a loom. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they've seen our sign at Hampton Court. It's a practical setup. We focus on getting the patterns right and making sure the fabric looks okay. There are days when we're running behind, and everyone has to pitch in to get things finished. It's just a normal workplace with real people trying to do a good job. We keep the floor as clean as we can, though with all the thread and dust, it's a constant battle. We're just glad to be doing what we do every day. It's a solid business and we hope to keep it going for a long time. There is always a lot to learn in this business.
