A. K. Textile

A. K. Textile is located at Plot No. 371 in the Industrial Area. If you look across the road, you can see the Nahar Tower standing tall. Our place is much smaller and more basic. It is a large shed-like building with a high metal roof. When it rains, the sound on the roof is so loud we can't hear each other speak. The floor is made of rough stone and there are piles of textile waste in the corners. We move heavy loads in and out all day long. Trucks are always backing up to the entrance to drop off new stock. It is a dusty environment and the air feels heavy with the smell of raw fabric. We don't have any fancy chairs, just some old plastic ones for when we take a break. A. K. Textile is just one of many units in this industrial zone. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and find us working. The sun beats down on the roof and makes it very hot inside during the afternoon. We keep a big water cooler in the corner to stay hydrated. There is a small desk where we keep the papers, but it is usually covered in dust. We just do what we need to do to keep things moving. It is a plain and simple business.
