Khushi Telecom

You can find Khushi Telecom over in the Kot Mangal Singh area. It’s one of those spots that people just know about when they need to get their phone sorted or pay a bill. The shop is small and the walls are covered with old posters and some calendars that might be a few months out of date. We spend most of our time behind the counter, talking to folks from the neighborhood who stop by to vent about their slow internet or ask about a new SIM card. The street outside can be quite narrow, so things feel a bit cramped when it's busy. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. Just a few chairs, a computer that’s seen better days, and a lot of cables hanging around. Usually, there is a bit of a line in the evenings when everyone is getting off work and heading home. We try to get through things as quickly as we can, but sometimes the system is slow and we just end up chatting about the weather or local news. It’s a decent place to work, even if the overhead light flickers every now and then. People in Kot Mangal Singh are friendly enough, and we’ve become a part of the daily routine for many of them. It’s just a regular telecom shop doing its thing day in and day out without much fuss or worry about anything.
