Kapoor Telecom

Kapoor Telecom is located near Budigere Cross on the Old Madras Road side of Ludhiana. It’s a spot that sees a lot of traffic because of the main road. The shop is a simple room with some glass display cases. We have various mobile accessories and some handsets. I spend most of my time helping people with their phone settings or selling recharge packs. A lot of the older people in the neighborhood come to me when they are confused by a new app. I don't mind taking the time to show them how it works. We’ve been here for many years now. The walls are a bit faded and there’s a mark on the ceiling from an old leak. We finally got the roof fixed, but the stain is still there. It’s mostly just me running the place from morning until night. The streetlights outside aren't very bright, so the shop feels a bit like a cave in the evenings. I have a small radio that I listen to while I work. I sell basic things like cables and chargers. We aren't trying to be a big electronics store. It’s just a practical shop for the local community. I know all the other shopkeepers on this block. We often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. Sometimes I have to close up early for personal reasons, and everyone understands. That’s just how it is here.
