Kamal Tele Shop

The shop is located right on Subash Nagar Road. It’s a very busy spot with lots of traffic and people going by all day. I spend most of my time sitting behind the counter. People come in mostly for phone recharges or if their devices are acting up and they don't know why. It gets quite noisy with the buses honking right outside the door. The space is small, just enough for me and a few glass displays. I’ve been here a while now, so I know most of the regulars by their first names. We get a lot of students and local workers passing through. Some stay to chat for a bit, while others are in a huge hurry. The walls could really use a fresh coat of paint, but I never seem to find the time or the energy. I keep all the cables and chargers in those plastic bins behind me. It’s not the most organized system in the world, but I know where everything is kept. Sometimes the internet goes down and everyone gets a bit frustrated with me. I just tell them they have to wait a bit. Not much I can do about the connection. I usually keep a small radio playing in the background to drown out some of the traffic noise. It’s mostly just local news or music. Sometimes a neighbor pops in just to escape the afternoon heat for a minute or two. We don’t mind. It’s a friendly enough street.
