Joy Maa Kali Mini Rice Mill

Joy Maa Kali Mini Rice Mill is located on Street No. 8-B in Harkrishan Nagar. We are at Plot No. 1513/8 A, right in the heart of the neighborhood. It is a small operation, hence the "mini" in our name. The sound of the machinery is something you get used to pretty quickly when you spend all day here. There is always a fine dusting of rice husks on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. It just comes with the territory of milling rice. We work with local grains and spend our hours making sure the machines are running like they should. Sometimes they break down and we have to spend half the afternoon with tools in our hands getting things back on track. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The people living around Harkrishan Nagar know us well. They see the bags of rice moving in and out every day. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist, usually just one of us covered in a bit of dust answering the door. The space is filled with the smell of raw grain, which is actually quite nice once you settle in. We just take things one day at a time, processing what comes in and getting it ready for the local kitchens. It is a simple life centered around the mill and our small street. We don't need much else to keep things going.
