J R Mobile Repair is located down in Transport Nagar on Kondhwa Road, at 1929/12. It’s not the cleanest part of town, being near all the trucks and garages, so our shop gets its fair share of dust. We don't mind it much. We spend most of our time hunched over workbenches with tiny screwdrivers and magnifying glasses. Fixing phones is what we do, day in and day out. There’s always a pile of screens to be replaced and charging ports to be cleaned. Transport Nagar is a rough-and-tumble kind of place, and we fit right in. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and maybe a poster of a phone from five years ago. People come to us because we know how to handle the hardware. We don't use a lot of big words or try to confuse anyone. If a phone is dead, we say it’s dead. If it can be saved, we do our best. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with parts scattered around, but there’s a system to it all. It’s hard work on the eyes, but it’s satisfying when a device finally turns back on. We aren't looking for awards. We just want to keep the shop going and help the people around Kondhwa Road stay connected. That’s about all there is to it.
