Indiana Radio and Eletric Store

You can find us over on Brown Road in Chira Bazar. The exact spot is Vanka Mohalla, which is a place that never seems to sleep. Indiana Radio and Eletric Store has been standing here while the neighborhood changed all around it. It’s a narrow shop, filled from floor to ceiling with all sorts of wires, bulbs, and old radio parts that you probably can't find anywhere else. Sometimes I look at the shelves and wonder how we ended up with so much stuff. The air smells a bit like ozone and old paper. People come in looking for a specific fuse or a cable for an old radio their grandfather owned. We spend a lot of time squinting at small parts under a magnifying glass. It’s a bit cramped, and two people can barely pass each other in the aisle, but it works for us. Chira Bazar is always loud with people shouting and bikes zooming past, so the shop feels like a little escape from that chaos. We don't really do the whole modern retail thing with barcodes and bright lights. It’s more about knowing where that one specific box is hidden under the counter. We’ve fixed a lot of things over the years and sold even more. It’s a slow pace of life inside the store, even if Brown Road is moving at a hundred miles an hour outside our front door.
