Guru Kirpa Mobile Shop

I started Guru Kirpa Mobile Shop because everyone seemed to be breaking their phones all the time. We are located on Daba Road, right near Hennur Main Road. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with glass cases for chargers, cables, and some second-hand phones we’ve fixed up. I spend a lot of my day under a bright desk lamp with a tiny screwdriver, trying to figure out why a screen won't turn on or why a battery is swelling up. It’s tedious work, but I like the quiet of it when I’m focused. The shop gets a lot of foot traffic because of the location on Daba Road. People are always dropping in to buy a cheap pair of headphones or to get a new screen protector put on because they dropped their phone on the pavement. I don’t have any fancy certificates on the wall, just years of messing around with electronics until I figured out how they work. Sometimes I can’t fix a phone, and I have to tell the customer it’s better to just buy a new one. I try to be honest about it. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with parts and tools scattered around, but I have my own system for finding things. It’s just me and a stool behind the counter. On hot days, the fan just moves the warm air around, but it’s better than nothing. I’m just here to help people stay connected with their friends and family.
