Govindpuria Archtect

Govindpuria Archtect is a small firm located in Jamalpur, Ludhiana. You can find us right near the Lovely Sweets shop, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. We work on building designs and drawings all day long. The office is usually filled with papers and sketches spread out across the tables. We’ve been in Ludhiana 141010 for quite some time now. It’s not a fancy studio with mood lighting, just a place where we sit and work out how things should be built. Being near Lovely Sweets means we always have a good spot for a snack nearby. We take on all kinds of local projects. Sometimes it’s a house and other times it’s something bigger. We don't try to be something we are not. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the plans make sense for the people living there. The Jamalpur area is always growing, so there is plenty of construction happening around us. We like being part of that growth. Our team is small and we talk to each other across the room instead of sending emails. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We’ve got our drafting tools and our computers and that’s about it. People stop by to check on their plans and we show them what we’ve been working on. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. Most days we are here until late.
