Friends Mobile Care

You can find us at Friends Mobile Care, right on G.T Road inside the Jash Textile & Yarn Market. It’s a small shop, tucked away amongst all the fabric and yarn wholesalers. Being in a textile market is a bit strange for a mobile shop, but it works out. We spend most of our time staring at tiny screws and cracked screens. It’s a lot of squinting. People come in all day with phones they’ve dropped or ones that just stopped charging. We don’t have a fancy waiting room; usually, customers just stand around or go get a tea while we look at their devices. The market is always loud with people shouting and carts moving back and forth. Sometimes it’s hard to hear yourself think. We’ve been here long enough that most of the textile guys know us by name. We try to be quick, but some phones are just a mess inside. We don't promise miracles, just that we'll try our best to get the thing working again. It’s a bit of a cramped space with all the boxes of spare parts, but we make it work. The light in here isn't the best, so we use these desk lamps to see what we're doing. It’s just a regular local shop. No big branding, just us and a bunch of broken electronics waiting to be fixed.
