Dhillon Telecom

I’ve been sitting here at Dhillon Telecom in Jawahar Nagar for quite some time now. It’s just a small spot where people come when their phone screens crack or they need a quick recharge done. The street gets pretty loud during the afternoons but that’s just how it is around here. We have all sorts of cables and covers hanging on the walls. Most days it’s just me and maybe a helper trying to figure out why someone’s battery isn't holding a charge anymore. People from the neighborhood stop in just to say hello even if they don’t need anything fixed that day. I try to keep things organized but sometimes the spare parts pile up on the back table. It isn't anything fancy like those big malls you see nowadays. Just a regular shop with a glass counter and a few stools for people to wait on while I look at their devices. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait a bit to process things, but nobody seems to mind much. We’ve seen a lot of different phone models come through these doors over the years. Some are easy to fix and others are just a headache. If you walk down the main lane in Jawahar Nagar, you’ll find us easily enough near the corner. It’s a simple living and it keeps us busy from morning until we pull the shutters down at night.
