Deepak Mobiles

Deepak Mobiles is found on Lalbagh Road, right at the 1st Cross in Kalyan Nagar. It’s a small shop tucked away on a very busy street. We have a lot of chargers and phone cases hanging on the walls to save space. I spend most of my time behind the glass counter. People come in with all sorts of problems, like cracked screens or phones that won't charge. I use a lot of small tools and a magnifying lamp to see what I'm doing. The traffic outside on Lalbagh Road never really stops, so there’s always a background noise of horns and engines. I’ve been here for a few years now. It’s just me and my younger brother running the place. We don’t have a massive stock of phones, but we keep the most common ones. The shop can feel a bit cramped when we have more than a couple of customers. We have a single bench for people to sit on while they wait for a quick fix. The floor gets dirty pretty fast from the street dust, so I have to sweep it a few times a day. We don't do any fancy promotions or anything like that. Most of our customers are locals who live within walking distance. We like the neighborhood. It’s a simple business and we just try to get through the daily tasks. Sometimes we stay open late if a customer is coming from far away.
