Dashmesh Telecom

Dashmesh Telecom is located right in the middle of Ludhiana Main Market Mundian Khurd 6. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with mobile accessories and tools for fixing phones. I spend most of my day sitting at the small workbench near the back. The market is always really loud, so it can be hard to hear people talking sometimes. We don’t have any fancy staff, just me and a helper who comes in occasionally. Most of what we do is just helping people with their phone recharges or fixing a screen that got cracked. It’s not the most glamorous work, and my hands usually have some bits of glue or dust on them. The shop gets quite dusty because the door is always open to the street. I have a lot of old parts in boxes under the counter that I probably should throw away, but you never know when a specific screw might be needed. People stop by to chat while they wait for their phones. It’s a good community here in Mundian Khurd. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the one over the door that’s been there for years. We just try to get the repairs done so people can get back to their day. It’s a busy little spot, and it keeps me on my toes most of the time. There is always a new phone model coming out, and we have to learn how to open them up without breaking anything.
