You can find Damsun India over at the Surya Shopping Arcades on National Road in Ghumar Mandi. We’re in units F-18, 19, and 20. This area is a pretty lively part of Ludhiana, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and people walking around the building. Our office is a bit of a mix between a workspace and a storage area for all the samples we keep on hand. It gets a bit cluttered during the peak seasons when we have a lot of new things coming in. We’ve been in this arcade for a while now, and we know most of the other shop owners around us. It’s a decent community. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work by stacking boxes and files pretty high. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at computers. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a bunch of desks and some filing cabinets that have definitely seen better days. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up and we end up taking the stairs. We deal with various people from all over the region. Every day is a bit different, depending on what orders are coming through the door. We aren’t really into fancy corporate stuff or mission statements. We just focus on getting the products out to people. It’s practical work. The lights can be a bit dim in the back corners, but we know where everything is.
