Chawla Mobile Care

If you go down to Naroda G.I.D.C., near the Madhusudan Re-Rolling Mills in Hargobind Nagar, you’ll find us. Chawla Mobile Care is our little shop. It’s in an industrial area, so there’s always a lot of dust and the sound of machinery nearby. We’ve been here for quite some time in Naroda. It’s not the prettiest part of town, but it’s where we work. We spend our days fixing cracked screens and batteries that won't charge. It’s a lot of fiddly work with small screws that are easy to lose. We have a small workbench and a few stools for customers to wait on. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a decent fan. We aren't part of some big chain. It’s just a local business. Most of our customers work in the factories nearby and drop their phones off during their lunch break. We know how much people rely on their phones, so we try to get them back as soon as we can. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just fix phones. Sometimes we chat with the guys from the mills while we work. It’s a good community here. We’re just happy to be a part of it. The floor is a bit uneven and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it doesn't bother us. We care more about having the right screwdriver for the job than how the walls look.
