We are located right at Ambethan Chowk in Chakan. If you’ve ever been through there, you know how busy the roads get with all the industrial traffic. We spend our time looking at properties and talking to people who want to buy or sell land. It’s a fast-growing area, so things change every week. New buildings go up and old plots get cleared. We spend a lot of our day out in the sun, walking around sites and checking boundaries. Our office is a simple place where we keep our maps and files. We don't use a lot of fancy sales talk. Usually, we just tell people what the situation is with a piece of property, the good and the bad. Chakan is a tough place to work sometimes because of the dust and the heat, but we know every shortcut and every lane by now. We’ve seen the town grow from almost nothing to what it is today. People come to us because we’ve been here for a while and we know who owns what. We don't have a big corporate backup; it’s just us doing the legwork. Sometimes a deal falls through at the last minute, and that’s frustrating, but you just move on to the next one. It’s all about being on the ground and seeing things for yourself. We keep a jug of water on the table for anyone who stops by to escape the Chakan heat for a few minutes.
