People around Haibowal Kalan know where to find us in Bhosale Nagar at B-34/3067. We have been sitting in this same spot dealing with phones and cables for a long time now. It is a small space, mostly taken up by glass cases full of screen protectors and chargers that everyone seems to lose. During the day, it gets pretty loud with the traffic outside and the constant pinging of phones being tested. We spend most of our hours fixing screens that people dropped or trying to figure out why someone’s internet isn't working right. It is a lot of looking at tiny screws and wires. Sometimes it is just helping a neighbor set up a new SIM card because the instructions are too small to read. We keep a few chairs for people to sit while they wait, but often they just stand near the door and watch the street. The light inside is a bit bright, but you need that to see the small parts inside a mobile. We don’t have any fancy displays, just the usual stuff that people actually need for their daily lives. It gets dusty pretty quick with the road right there, so cleaning the glass is a never-ending job. We just keep at it, day after day, making sure people can stay connected to their families without too much trouble.
