Being located in Focal Point means we deal with a lot of factory workers and people who are always on the move. B M Telecom is not a big flashy store. It is just a practical shop where people come when they need their mobile needs sorted out quickly. Most of our day is spent helping guys get their recharges done or picking out a sturdy phone case because things get dropped a lot in the industrial areas. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass counters. It is a hardworking area, and we try to match that energy. I have been here for several years now. You get to know the shift timings of the nearby plants because that is when the rush happens. We have all the basic stuff, nothing too high-end that would not last in a place like this. Sometimes a worker will come in with a phone that has been through a lot, and we see what can be saved. It is not about making a huge profit every time; it is more about being part of the local scene here in Focal Point. We open early and stay until the last main shift ends. People know they can find us here. There is no big sign or anything, just the shop name and the usual crowd of people outside. We like the rhythm of this place. It is noisy and busy, but it feels right for a business like ours.
