Architect Studio

Down here in Induri, things move at a bit of a different pace compared to the big city. Our studio is just a plain space where we sit and figure out how to build stuff. It’s called Architect Studio, which is pretty direct I guess. We didn't want a complicated name. Most of the time, the floor is covered in dusty boots because we’re always coming back from some site or another. Induri is quiet, which helps when you need to focus on a tricky floor plan. We have an old table that’s seen better days, but it’s large enough for all the big sheets of paper. Sometimes we just sit there and sketch for hours. There’s no big reception desk or someone to greet you at the door. You just come in and find us. We handle whatever comes our way, from small houses to sheds. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. The light in the afternoon gets really bright in the office, so we usually have to pull the curtains. Most of the local folks know where we are. We don't really advertise much. Word of mouth usually brings people in. It’s a bit messy with all the samples and rolls of paper, but that’s how we like it. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure the roof doesn't leak and the rooms are the right size. It works for us and keep us occupied throughout the week.
