Ananta Exports

Our place is located at Plot No. 2260 in Mahendra Enclave, over in Moti Nagar. It’s a bit of a mixed area with some houses and some small businesses like ours. We do export work, mainly focusing on garments and textiles. The office is on the ground floor and the back area is where we do all the checking and packing. We’ve got a small team, mostly people from the neighborhood who have been with us since we started. There is always a pile of samples sitting on the big table in the middle of the room. We spend a lot of time looking at stitches and checking if the colors match what the buyers asked for. Moti Nagar is a busy spot, and sometimes it is hard for the delivery trucks to get down the narrow lane to our gate. We have to coordinate carefully so we don't block the whole road for the neighbors. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls; it’s more of a workshop feel with stacks of fabric and the smell of steam irons. We take our lunch together usually, and someone always brings extra pickles to share. It’s a simple way of working. We just focus on getting the crates packed securely and making sure the labels are stuck on right before they head to the port. We don't do much marketing, we just let the quality of the shipments talk for us and keep our heads down.
