Alliance Credint & Collection Bureau

Alliance Credint & Collection Bureau operates out of an office on Ghumar Mandi Lehri Mani Road 11. It is a pretty cramped space if I am being honest, with filing cabinets lining almost every wall and phones that never seem to stop ringing for long. We spend most of the day sitting behind old wooden desks, going through files and making calls to sort out various accounts. The street outside is always crowded, so there is a constant background noise of horns and people shouting, which you eventually stop hearing. We have a small window that looks out onto the road, but it is usually too dusty to see much through it. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon when things get a bit slow. Dealing with collections and credits is a lot of back-and-forth work, and sometimes it gets a bit frustrating when people don't get back to us. We just keep our heads down and work through the lists we have. There isn't much in the way of decoration here, just a calendar on the wall and a clock that ticks a little too loudly. It is just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of the paperwork and keep the files in some kind of order. It is not always easy, but we have a rhythm down that seems to work for us most of the time.
