A To Z Mobile Care

A To Z Mobile Care is tucked away in Kwality Road Rehab B Wing, at Anand Seva CHS 2. Being inside a residential complex means we mostly help the people who live right here. It’s a small room, but it’s enough for what we do. We have a workbench in the corner with a magnifying lamp and a soldering iron that stays hot most of the day. You’ll see plenty of screwdrivers and little plastic tubs full of tiny components. People drop off their phones on their way to work or while they’re out getting groceries. We don’t have any fancy uniforms or a front desk person. It’s just us sitting there, trying to get a touch screen to respond again. Sometimes we have to explain that a phone is too old to fix, and we feel bad about it, but that’s just how it is. We’ve become a bit of a hub for the building, where people stop by to chat even if their phone is working fine. The space is a bit cramped when more than two people are inside, but we make it work. We’ve learned to be patient with the small parts and the frustrated customers. It’s a quiet life here at Anand Seva CHS 2, just fixing things one by one and keeping the neighborhood connected.
