A. P. Rice Mill

A. P. Rice Mill is out in Village Phallewal, right along the Delho Pakhowal Road. It is a very rural setting which is perfect because we are close to the farms where the rice actually grows. You can see fields for miles around us. The road gets busy with tractors during the harvest season, which is our busiest time of the year. We have a simple setup here in the village. It is mostly just the main mill building and some space for the trucks to turn around. We aren't interested in being a giant company. We just want to serve the local farmers in Phallewal and the nearby areas. The dust from the husks covers everything, so we are always cleaning up at the end of the shift. We have a small crew of men who know exactly what to do without being told. We’ve been on Pakhowal Road for quite some time and have seen many seasons come and go. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for it to come back before we can finish the batch. That is just how life is in the village. We don't have a fancy office or any polished marketing. We just have our machines and our hands. It's a tough job but it's what we know how to do, and we do it every day.
