Tender Heart School

You can find us at B 138 in Sector C of Mahanagar here in Lucknow. It’s right in the middle of a residential area, which makes it feel very much like a neighborhood school. The building is a regular house that we’ve used for the school for years. It has that lived-in feel to it. We don't have a huge playground, just a bit of space where the kids can move around. Most of the families who send their children here live just a few streets away, so we know them quite well. The teachers are local people who have been around for a long time. We don't go in for fancy talk or expensive decorations. We just keep the classrooms clean and the books ready. It can get a bit hectic during drop-off and pick-up times because the streets in Mahanagar are a bit narrow, but we manage. We spend our days teaching the kids and keeping an eye on them during the breaks. It’s a simple, honest way to run a school. There isn't any big mission statement on the wall, just the daily schedule that we follow. We’ve been here through many seasons, dealing with the heat and the rain just like everyone else in the city. It’s a small, quiet place where we just focus on the kids and their lessons without any extra fuss.
