Delhi Public School

Delhi Public School is located on Shaheed Path in the Ghuswal Kalan area of Lucknow. This part of the city has really opened up with the big highway nearby. Our campus is quite large, which means there is a lot of walking between the different blocks. Every morning, the yellow buses line up, and the whole place comes alive with students in their uniforms. It’s a bit of a job keeping a place this big tidy, so you’ll often see the maintenance staff out on the lawns or sweeping the long corridors. The sun can be quite harsh in Lucknow, so the indoor areas are usually where everyone wants to be during the middle of the day. We have the standard classrooms, some labs, and a big field for sports. It isn't a quiet place by any means; there is always some activity going on, whether it's a practice session or just kids moving between classes. The office is tucked away near the entrance, and it's always full of people asking questions or dropping off files. We don’t use any grand words to describe ourselves; we are just a large school trying to manage a lot of students and staff every single day. The traffic on Shaheed Path can be a bit much at times, but once you are inside the gates, it feels like its own little world. We just keep to our schedule and do the work that needs doing, even when the heat makes everyone a bit slow in the afternoons.
