Study Hall School

You can find us on Cms Road in Gomti Nagar. It is a busy part of Lucknow with lots of houses and shops around. Study Hall School has been around for quite a while, and the building shows its age in a comfortable way. The trees around the entrance give a bit of shade during the hot months. When the school bell rings at the end of the day, the street gets completely blocked with cars and rickshaws. Inside, it’s a different world. The walls are covered with student work and notices about exams or holidays. Teachers are always carrying stacks of notebooks. We have some open spaces where students gather during their lunch breaks to eat and talk. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the younger children are out for their recess. We have various labs and a library where it is actually a bit peaceful. The staff here works hard to keep everything running, from the office work to the actual teaching in the classrooms. Sometimes the heat in Lucknow gets a bit much, but we have fans in every room. We don't really have a lot of corporate rules; we just try to be practical and help the kids get through their books. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. The neighborhood knows us well since we have been here for such a long time. People just know where the school is.
