Shivani Public School

Shivani Public School is located at Building Number - 1, in Sector O of Kanpur Road. It’s right near Shahid Path and Transport Nagar in Lucknow. Because we are near Transport Nagar, there are always a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles moving around the area. It makes the surroundings a bit loud and dusty, but inside the school walls, we try to keep it a bit more peaceful for the kids. The building itself is straightforward and easy to navigate. We have classrooms for various grades and a small area where students can spend their break time. Being in the 226012 area, we get a lot of students from the nearby residential sectors. The staff is mostly local and they understand the challenges of getting to school in this part of Lucknow. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the essentials for teaching and learning. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of life here. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the students are getting their work done. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and get to work with the kids who come through. There is usually someone sweeping the front steps or fixing a window, but we keep the place running as best as we can every single day.
