You can find Shemrock Play Kids over at 2/62 in the M-Vishalkhand area of Gomti Nagar. Lucknow is a big city, but Gomti Nagar feels like its own little world. We’ve set up our school in a residential block, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a big institution. We mostly work with the little ones. Our days are filled with snacks, naps, and basic lessons. The house we use has been converted to have safe spaces for kids to play. We spend a lot of time on the floor with them. It’s not a corporate operation; it’s just us and the kids. We have a small staff of local people who really care about the neighborhood. Sometimes the gate squeaks, or we have to paint the walls again because of sticky fingers, but that’s part of the job. We don’t put out big fancy ads. Word of mouth is how most parents find us. They like that we’re right here in Vishalkhand. We keep the front yard tidy and try to make sure the kids are happy when their parents come to pick them up in the afternoon. It’s simple, honest work. We deal with the daily challenges of running a play school, from lost shoes to rainy days when we can't go outside. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by really fast. We are just part of the local scene here in Gomti Nagar.
