Little Millenium

Little Millenium is tucked away at 4/931 in the Cantt area of Lucknow. The 226002 area is generally a bit quieter than the rest of the city, which is nice for a place where little kids spend their time. We have a small building that we’ve filled with all sorts of things for children—crayons, blocks, and colorful posters on the walls. It’s a space meant for play and for kids to get used to being away from home for a few hours. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who look after the different groups. Every morning is a bit of a struggle with some of the younger ones who don't want to leave their parents, but they usually settle down once they see the toys. We have a small outdoor area, but we spend a lot of time inside because of the Lucknow weather. It’s not a corporate office; it’s a place that smells like snacks and glue most of the time. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just watch over the children, teach them some songs, and make sure they don't hurt themselves while they're playing. It’s a simple job, but it keeps us very busy. Most of our families live right here in Cantt, so we see them around even when we aren't at work.
