Raj Nursery Primary School

We are located over in Ambika Vihar, right on the Aashiyana Road in Lucknow. It is a busy area and the road is almost never empty. The school building is at number 6 in Sector J. It is a typical Lucknow building with a small gate and a bit of a driveway. In the morning, you can hear the horns from the main road while the kids are lined up for prayer. The rooms are basic, just desks and a blackboard. We do not have air conditioning, so we rely on the ceiling fans and keeping the windows open, even if it brings in some noise. The area is quite residential, so we see the same people walking their dogs or going to the market every day. Our staff is mostly local women who live a few streets away. We keep a lot of registers in the main office and the shelves are getting pretty full. There is a small patch of grass out front, but it is hard to keep it green during the summer heat. The kids bring their lunch boxes and the whole place smells like pickles and parathas around noon. It is just a neighborhood school where things happen at their own pace. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment, just the things we need to get the teaching done. It is a bit loud and a bit crowded, but it is what we are used to.
