Maa Anarpurna

We are located right here in Mangalam Market which is part of the Vikas Khand area in Gomti Nagar. If you know where Akhilesh Steel is, then finding Maa Anarpurna is not hard at all because we are just near that spot. Lucknow gets very hot in the summer months so the shop can feel a bit stuffy, but we stay busy with the local crowd. It is a simple setup we have here. We don't have any big signs or loud music playing. Mostly it is just the sound of the market and people talking. We stock the usual things you would expect to find in a neighborhood store. There are always boxes coming in and going out. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy when we get a big shipment of supplies, but we sort it out eventually. The floors get swept every morning before the first person walks in. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here in Gomti Nagar and they stop by when they are passing through the market. It is a practical way to earn a living and we have been doing it this way for a long time. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on the main road. Other days we don't even have time to drink our tea properly. That is just how it is.
