Jai Jai Foods

Jai Jai Foods is over at Shop 29-B in the Naveen Galla Mandi Sthal. It’s on Lucknow Road, near the Parag Dairy. Most people use the dairy as a landmark to find us. We are listed as C/O Ramnand Baburam at this spot. The mandi is always a crowded place, especially in the mornings when the trucks are arriving. We spend most of our hours inside the shop. It isn't a large space, but it works for what we do. There are bags stacked everywhere and sometimes it is hard to walk through. We don't have any fancy marketing people. It is just us doing the work. We deal with various food items all day long. The noise of the market is constant. You hear people shouting prices and trucks backing up. We’ve grown used to it over the years. Jai Jai Foods has its own little corner in the Mandi Sthal. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just try to get the orders sorted and the bags moved out on time. Sometimes we have a cup of tea outside when things quiet down a bit in the afternoon. It is a practical life. The Lucknow Road traffic can be a mess, but we are used to that too. We are just a local shop trying to stay busy and keep things honest. There is always someone coming by to talk or check on an order.
