H A L School

At H A L School, we’re located right near the H A L Post Office. It’s a convenient spot for most of us. The school is a simple place, really. We have the usual classrooms and a hall where we gather when we need to. It’s not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We focus on the basics of teaching. The bells ring, the kids go to class, and we do our jobs. There’s always a bit of a breeze coming through the hallways, which is nice in the warmer months. We have a small team of people who look after the grounds and keep the place from falling apart. It’s a lot of work to keep a school going, especially with old pipes and floors that need constant mopping. We drink a lot of tea in the staff room between periods. Usually, we're talking about the weather or the traffic. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood here. We see the same people at the post office every day. The kids are loud, and the teachers are busy. That’s the way it’s always been at H A L School. We don’t have any grand plans, just the goal of getting through the week and making sure the lessons are finished. It’s a practical way to live, and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the place over the years.
