You will find B.K. Convent Inter College right at Ambedkar Chauraha in the Indra Nagar area of Lucknow. We are situated on Takrohi Road, which is a busy little corner of the world. Every morning, the sound of the school bell cuts through the noise of the traffic and the local markets starting up. It is a humble place, honestly. We don't have marble floors or air-conditioned hallways, just standard classrooms with wooden benches and plenty of windows for air. The walls have been painted many times, but you can still see the age of the building if you look closely. The teachers here are the kind of people who have lived in Lucknow their whole lives. They know the families around here and often taught the older siblings of the kids who are in class now. We spend a lot of time dealing with everyday stuff like fixing a leaky tap or making sure the playground is clear of stones. It’s not a glamorous job, but it feels important to us. During the breaks, the courtyard is full of kids running around and the smell of lunch boxes being opened. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the day goes smoothly for everyone at the college. It’s just a normal school in a busy part of town where everyone works hard.
