Singvas Farmers Producer Company Limited

We operate out of the ground floor at Asha Singh’s place in Saidanpur, near the Muradganj post office in Line-Bazar. Singvas Farmers Producer Company Limited is just a group of us from the Teh-Sadar area who wanted to combine our efforts. Farming is a lot of work, and sometimes it feels like you're fighting the weather and the markets all by yourself. We decided to change that. Our office isn't anything special, just a room where we keep our records and meet to talk. Most of the real work happens outside in the fields anyway. We don't have any polished speeches or big goals other than just doing a good job with our crops. We talk about stuff like soil quality and which pests are causing trouble this season. It's not always easy, and sometimes we disagree on things, but we always figure it out. We’ve all been in this area for a long time, so we’re basically neighbors helping neighbors. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. If people need to find us, they usually just ask around or come by the ground floor in Saidanpur. We just want to make sure we can keep farming the way we always have, but maybe a little more efficiently. It’s a simple business run by people who actually work the land.
