Our company is located at 01, Badhya Babu in the Belahara Kachan area. We go by the name Badhaya Babu Farmer Producer Company Limited. Surendra Singh is the one who helps keep us all organized from that address. We are just a group of local farmers who decided that we should probably start working as a unit. It is not like those big companies you see in the newspapers. We are just people who know how to grow crops and want to make a bit of a better living from it. We spend our time dealing with the everyday problems of farming, like pests and the lack of water sometimes. We do not have any polished speeches or mission statements. We just want to harvest our crops and sell them without getting cheated. The office is just a small space where we can sit and talk. We do not have any secretaries or big computers. Most of our business is done with a handshake and a lot of talk. We have been part of this community for a long time, so we all know each other well. It is a hard life but it is a good one when the harvest is heavy. We do not try to be anything we are not. We are just farmers in Belahara Kachan doing our best to get by every season. That is the long and short of it for our little company.
