We are over in Sakhopar, Kushinagar. The office is at Ram Ahdar’s house, number 68. Ameliorate Bio Energy Farmer Producer Company Limited is a very long name for a group of local farmers. We are interested in bio energy because it seems like a smart idea for the future. But mostly, we are just farming like we always have. We look at things like crop waste and how to use it for something better. It’s a bit different from the usual farming, but it’s still dirty, physical work. Kushinagar is a peaceful place most of the time. We have a lot of members who come by the house to check on things or ask questions. We don't have a big corporate building or anything. It's just a small room with some files and a fan that squeaks when it's on. We try to learn new things when we get the chance. Sometimes we go to meetings in the bigger cities, but we usually like it better back here. Life is simple. We wake up, check the crops, and talk to the other farmers in the village. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We're just trying to find better ways to use what we grow. It’s a struggle sometimes, especially with the costs of everything going up so fast. But having the producer company helps us stay organized. We aren't experts, we are just learning together.
