Kushinagar is a place with a lot of history and visitors, but for us, it’s just about the day-to-day grind of the business. We are interested in bio-energy, which basically means we look at what’s left over from the local farms and see how it can be used for something better. It’s not a complicated idea, just a lot of moving things around and talking to the local growers. The house is a familiar spot for many in the neighborhood. We spend our time checking on the different batches and making sure the farmers are getting their fair share of the profits. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with all the samples and bags lying around the office, but we know where everything is kept. The weather in Uttar Pradesh can be tough, especially when it’s humid and the air is heavy, but we keep the fans going and stay on task. We aren’t a big company with a lot of staff in suits. It’s just a few of us making sure the bio-energy side of things is actually moving forward every day. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just work with the earth and the leftovers from the local harvest to keep things going for everyone.
