Sankaras Em School

In Pattikonda, specifically in the Laxmi Nagar area, Sankaras Em School has its home. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads. The school has a courtyard where things happen. You’ll see the kids gathering there in the morning for their assembly. We have different rooms for the different grades. The furniture is plain and functional. We don't have many decorations on the outside of the building. It is just a place for learning. The teachers carry their bags and chalk boxes from room to room. Sometimes the local dogs wander near the gate, but the watchman keeps them out. Kurnool can get quite hot, so the shade in the building is important. We have fans in all the rooms. The students bring their water bottles and keep them on their desks. Most of the children live close enough to walk or take a short rickshaw ride. We know the parents because they are our neighbors. It’s not a corporate setup at all. It’s just us running a school for the local families. We follow the rules and teach the subjects. At the end of the day, we lock up the gates and head home like everyone else in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a very normal part of the town's daily life. Sometimes we stay late to finish some work, but mostly we stick to the hours.
