You can find us in Doctor Colony, over in the B Camp area of Kurnool. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit more relaxed than the city center. The school building has been part of this street for a long time. There’s a bit of a rush in the morning when the rickshaws and cars drop the kids off at the entrance. The hallway walls are covered in student drawings and old charts. We have these heavy wooden benches that make a loud noise when you move them. Kurnool gets incredibly hot in the summer, so the ceiling fans are always spinning at full speed. The staff room is a small space filled with stacks of notebooks and a kettle that’s always being used for making tea. During the lunch break, the playground is a mess of kids playing and shouting. We don't have a giant stadium or anything, just a courtyard where they can spend their energy. The gatekeeper knows almost every student by name and watches them leave. It’s a practical sort of place. We focus on the daily lessons and getting through the syllabus. Sometimes the intercom crackles when we try to make an announcement. It’s not a polished corporate school; it feels more like a local institution where everyone is familiar with each other. We just go about our business in Doctor Colony, keeping the classrooms ready and the bells ringing on time for the kids who come here from all over B Camp. It's what we've done for years.
