About Cornerstone Public School – Education in Kurnool
We’ve been here in Adoni for a while now. The school is just a regular place where kids show up every morning around eight. You can hear the noise from the street as parents drop their children off on bikes and in rickshaws. The sun gets pretty hot here by midday, so we try to keep things moving inside the classrooms. It’s not a fancy building, just some rooms and a spot for the kids to run around during their break. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Our staff mostly live nearby, so they know the families around here. We have some benches that are starting to show their age, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint when we get some extra time. During lunch, the smell of tiffin boxes fills the hallways. It’s a lot of lemon rice and sambar usually. The kids stay busy with their books until the final bell rings in the afternoon. Then everyone rushes out, and the place gets quiet again until the next day. It’s a simple routine we follow Monday through Friday. We don’t have much in the way of big gadgets, but there’s enough space for everyone to sit and do their work. It’s just a local school doing what it can for the neighborhood kids here in the 518301 area.
