Pragati Public High School

Pragati Public High School is located on Teru Street in Atmakur. We have been part of the Kurnool district for quite some time. The school building at 23-45/1 is where we spend all our time. It’s a basic setup with classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to run around during their breaks. We don't have fancy air conditioning or marble floors, just desks, chalkboards, and a lot of students trying to learn. Every morning, the street gets busy with parents dropping off their children. It can get a little chaotic on Teru Street, but everyone knows the routine by now. We focus on the regular curriculum that the state requires. There’s no big corporate board running things here; it’s mostly just the teachers and the staff who live nearby. We know most of the families in the area by name. Some of the parents even went to school here themselves years ago. It’s nice to see that connection continue over the years. We try to keep the place tidy, though with so many kids around, there’s always a bit of dust or a stray pencil on the floor. Atmakur is home for us, and the school is just our way of helping the kids get ready for whatever comes next in their lives. We don't make big promises, we just show up every day and do the work. It is simple but it is what we do for the neighborhood families here.
