Sishya School

We have been here on Thally Road for quite a long time now. Hosur is a busy town, but our school tucked away here feels like its own little world. It is mostly just us teachers and the kids going through the daily routine of classes and lunch breaks. People know where we are, right near the main road but far enough back so it is not too loud for the students. The building is simple and doesn't have any fancy stuff on the outside, but it does the job. Every morning, you see the yellow buses pulling in and the parents dropping off their children. We try to keep things organized, though some days are more chaotic than others, especially when the rains come or there is a big event to prepare for. The classrooms have high ceilings and lots of windows to let the light in. We do not have those big flashy signs like some of the newer places in town. It is just a place for learning. The staffroom is usually full of papers and half-empty tea cups by the time noon rolls around. We know most of the families around here by name, and we see them at the market too. It is a job that keeps us on our feet all day. Some days the bells ring exactly on time, and other days things run a bit behind. That is just how life is in a school like this. It's a steady rhythm we've got.
