Crescent Metric Higher Secondary School

Crescent Metric Higher Secondary School is located in Kurubarahalli, which is out in Krishnagiri. We have been running this school for a while now. It is a higher secondary school, so we have students from the younger grades all the way up to the older ones. The school is right here in the community, and most of the children walk or come by local transport. We don't have any of those shiny brochures with professional photos. What you see is what you get. The classrooms are basic but they do the job. We have a lot of noise in the mornings when everyone is arriving, and then it settles down into the usual school routine. We aren't trying to be some fancy international school. We are just a local place for kids to get their education. The teachers here are mostly from around Krishnagiri themselves. We talk to the parents when they come to pick up their children. It is very informal. If a window breaks or a desk needs fixing, we just get someone to do it. We don't have a big corporate board making decisions. We just decide what needs to be done for the next day and we do it. The goal is just to get the kids through their classes and help them pass their exams. It is hard work but it is what we know how to do here in Kurubarahalli. It's just a regular local school.
